Boots Dunlap has over 14 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, having consulted and worked on behalf of numerous banks, insurance companies, and private equity firms, including Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, Genworth, Värde Partners, and Fortress. During this time, Boots originated and managed approximately $1 billion in middle-market commercial real estate bridge loans and consulted on $2.4 billion of distressed commercial real estate across the U.S. In addition, he developed RRA’s state-of-the-art commercial real estate risk management and predictive valuation software platform (MQi®). Boots has been an active member of ULI, Mortgage Bankers’ Association, CREFC, NAOIP, the CCIM Institute, and various other industry organizations during the past decade. Prior to co-founding RRA, Boots was an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer with the 10th Mountain Division where he served in multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan earning him the Bronze Star and numerous other distinguished leadership decorations. Mr. Dunlap received his bachelor’s from the University of Virginia and has a CCIM designation.
With more than 20 years of commercial real estate development, management, and investment experience, Marc Grayson has been involved in projects totaling more than five million square feet with a total market value in excess of $2.5 billion. Currently, he serves as COO/President at RRA Capital where he oversees all operational aspects of the firm including asset management, investment, finance, advisory services, and originations in addition to helping chart the strategic direction of the company. Prior to joining RRA in 2009, Mr. Grayson worked for a number of well-respected real estate developers across the country, including Neenan Company, Ryan Companies US, Inc., and Vestar Development Company. He formerly served as President of the City of Scottsdale Industrial Development Authority board. Mr. Grayson holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and an MBA from Arizona State University. He earned a CCIM designation and has been involved in a leadership capacity in many commercial real estate industry groups including Urban Land Institute, CoreNet, NAIOP, and TMA.
Previously a Partner at Philadelphia-based Raju LLP, Dimple has more than 15 years of experience in structured finance. She brings a long history of representing commercial mortgage real estate lenders and loan servicers in high-value, complex, structured-finance transactions, with transaction values exceeding $2 billion. Prior to that, Dimple quickly rose up the ranks at Dilworth Paxson LLP in Philadelphia taking the shortest road to partnership in the firm’s prestigious and storied history. Dimple also represented and counseled energy services companies, public and private bio-tech companies, and film production companies. Dimple obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University and has a Bachelor’s in Economics from New York University.
For over 10 years, Mr. Van Brunt has served both equity and debt investors by underwriting, developing, and managing commercial real estate nationwide. He has underwritten nearly $7 billion in opportunities in all major commercial real estate classes in all major U.S. markets. Prior to his tenure at RRA, Mr. Van Brunt underwrote over $1 billion in retail, office and industrial acquisition opportunities at VEREIT, a publicly traded REIT with a national portfolio of over 4,000 properties. Before this, he worked at Seattle-based Unico Properties, developing and managing mixed-use projects in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Van Brunt attended Gonzaga University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He also received a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
Prior to joining RRA Companies, Bill Stasiulatis spent 20 years at Torchlight Investors, where he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager, as well as a member of the Board of Directors, Operating Committee, and Investment Committee. In these roles, he was responsible for managing portfolios of over $4 billion in commercial real estate debt investments such as mezzanine loans, preferred equity, CMBS, and other real estate-related securities. Throughout his tenure at Torchlight, he was involved in all aspects of the investment management platform including originations, underwriting, servicing, operations, and marketing. Mr. Stasiulatis holds a B.A. in Economics and Operations Research from Columbia University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and an M.S. in Financial Engineering from the Columbia University School of Engineering. He is also a member of the Columbia Business School Real Estate Circle.
Charles Dunlap, CPM, CRE is the Founder and Chairman of RRA Companies. He has over four decades of ownership experience in the industry including the development, construction, rehabilitation, and management of over 13 million square feet of commercial, single family, and multifamily real property assets valued at more than $2 billion. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a Master’s degree from The London School of Economics. Prior to entering the real estate development business, Mr. Dunlap was awarded the Bronze Star and Joint Service Commendation Medal for his service as a U.S. Army Intelligence Officer in the Republic of Vietnam.
